Honey, where are the stamps?  It's time to pay our North Long Lake Association dues.

Stamps?  I don't think we have any stamps.

As previously announced, the North Long Lake Association is implementing a pilot program to accept annual dues, Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) fund contributions, and Walleye fund contributions via credit card.  We expect that many of our members will find this more convenient than mailing a check.

We are making the process as secure as possible.  Payments will be made through Paypal’s secure payment website.  The association will not have access to your credit card information.  You will receive a receipt from Paypal via email.

We are able to utilize Paypal's non-profit rate, which significantly reduces our cost.  We will also save by not sending a stamped, self addressed to every member.  And most importantly, by making it easier to for existing members to renew and new members to join, we sincerely hope this will increase our membership.

You may continue to send your dues, AIS, and Walleye Fund payments via check.  Checks can be mailed to Treasurer, NLLA, PO Box 54, Merrifield, MN 55465.  Please make sure the check includes the name your association membership is under.

If your contact details have changed, or if a new membership, please complete this fillable PDF and either email to treasurer@northlong.org mail to the above address.  (Note, fillable PDFs generally do not work on mobile devices.  If using a phone or tablet, you will need to download then open with Adobe Reader.)

The first $35 is applied to dues.  Any amount over $35 is treated and recorded as a contribution to the AIS fund.  The minimum is $35 (dues only).  Our dues have remained the same for many years.  We are working hard to keep it that way.

As you consider a contribution to our AIS fund, please keep in mind that we have planned additional treatment for Eurasian Watermilfoil in 2026 and increased treatment for Curly Leaf Pondweed.  We also fund additional county boat inspectors at our 2 primary boat launches.  Bottom line - our AIS expenses are increasing significantly.

Funds will be used in the future to enhance the Walleye fishery in North Long Lake through stocking and/or habitat.  Stocking by the association will require a permit from the DNR and be in addition to the stocking by the DNR.  Our primary focus will be to stock fingerlings, which have a far lower mortality rate than fry (especially as Zebra Mussels are present in North Long).

Thank you for your support of the North Lake Association and our efforts to combat Aquatic Invasive Species as well as to improve the Walleye fishery in our lake.
